1990 年代初期，格萊斯頓與義大利藝術經銷商克里斯蒂安．斯泰因（Christian Stein）合作，力推當時少見的義大利與美國藝術家的裝置作品。引發廣大關注，同時以持續呈現概念強烈、極具視覺衝擊的藝術風格見長。格萊斯頓畫廊代理的藝術家包括：烏戈．榮第隆尼（Ugo Rondinone）、詩琳．娜夏特（Shirin Neshat）、安尼施．卡普爾（Anish Kapoor）、莎拉．盧卡絲（Sarah Lucas）、馬修．巴尼（Matthew Barney）、瑞貝卡．奎特曼（Rebecca Quaytman）、維克多．曼（Victor Man）、安卓羅．維庫亞（Andro Wekua）以及黃永砯。2008 年更將經營觸角延伸至歐洲，於比利時布魯塞爾開設據點。
2012 年曾名列「富比世」（Forbes）前10 大藝術經銷商的格萊斯頓也是位電影製片人，參與製作四部藝術家兼導演巴尼（Matthew Barney）的實驗電影《懸絲》系列（The Cremaster Cycle）以及2005 年藝術家與當時的妻子冰島歌手碧玉（Björk）合演的《掙脫9》（Drawing Restraint 9）等電影。

除了經營藝術，格萊斯頓也對社會教育正向的發展投注高度熱忱，在2009 年於新當代藝術博物館（The New Museum of Contemporary Art）成立「史都華．雷根夢想家基金」（Stuart Regen Visionaries Fund）來紀念同樣從事藝術經銷卻因病逝世的兒子史都華．雷根（Stuart Regen），並藉由「夢想家系列」（Visionaries Series）講座邀請國際間在藝術、建築及設計等各領域有創新見解的思想家，分享其革新理念與想像未來。曾邀請的演講者，包括：維基百科（Wikipedia）創辦人吉米．威爾斯（Jimmy Wales）、曾獲金獅獎的電影導演戴倫．艾洛諾夫斯基（Darren Aronofsky）以及華裔建築師林瓔（Maya Lin）等。
Gladstone Gallery: Business Diversification

Now with its three exhibition spaces in New York, Gladstone gallery first began when its founder Barbara Gladstone gave up her job teaching art history at Hofstra University to establish a small gallery in Manhattan in 1980. At the beginning of the 1990s, Gladstone partnered with Italian art dealer Christian Stein to promote the then rarely-seen installation works by Italian and American artists, attracting much attention. The gallery continued to grow by supporting and exhibiting various styles and expressions of art that had powerful concepts and were visually-impactful. Gladstone Gallery represents artists Ugo Rondinone, Shirin Neshat, Anish Kapoor, Sarah Lucas, Matthew Barney, Rebecca Quaytman, Victor Man, Androw Wekua and Huang Yong Ping. The gallery then expanded its empire to Europe with a branch in Brussels, Belgium.
Once named on the 2012 list of Forbes Top 10 Art Dealers, Gladstone is also a film producer, participating the production of four experimental films titled The Cremaster Cycle by artist and director Matthew Barney, and the 2005 movie Drawing Restraint 9 starring his then-wife Icelandic singer Björk as well as other films.
In addition to running a successful art business, Gladstone is also invested in the positive directions and paths of social education. Gladstone established the Stuart Regen Visionaries Fund at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in 2009 in honor of her late son and art dealer Stuart Regen. The Fund's "Visionary Series" has featured prominent international thinkers in the fields of art, architecture, design and more to share their innovative ideas and dreams for the future. Past speakers include Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, Darren Aronofsky, movie director and winner of a Golden Lion Award, Maya Lin, Chinese-American Architect, and more.
