Born in 1983, CHANG got her Master’s degree from the College of Fine Arts, National Kaohsiung Normal University. Since 2007, she has been creating different series of “Snow White” by using mixed media, such as needlework and cloth. With such a theme, the artist was awarded the Special Jury Prize for the open call for Louis Vuitton’s Cultural Space in 2010; moreover, she was invited to by Fumio Nanjo, whom was Director of Mori Art Museum at that time, to participate in the Museum’s 10th Anniversary Exhibition: All You Need Is Love─From Chagall to Kusama and Hatsune Miku in 2013. Following her developments at different stages, her Snow White has also undergone various transformations and subverted the viewers’ imagination and cognition of the fairy tale world.
