"Symbiosis and Protection of Human Beings and All Things" Kuo Wei LIN Sculpture Solo Exhibition

“Kuo Wei LIN” is good at taking the gentle image of women as the main body, paying attention to ecological environment conservation issues, creating the concept of “wearing”, inlaid with metal zippers, creating a three-dimensional creation of “tolerance vs. protection”, reflecting the artist’s care for all things in nature. The works continue the development of the environmental sampling series, and are good at shaping the coexistence of humans and animals in a realistic way, focusing on the reflection on social environmental issues. Since 2018, endangered animals have been used as the subject of creation. In the works, the human body is used to wear the outer clothing of animals, and it is explained that the animals cannot speak, so as to convey the thoughts and thoughts of protecting all things in nature. However, human beings are overly destroyed and feel the great changes in the global environment. By 2021, a new series of yoga movements will be developed, using the polar animal yoga posture to stand freely and stably in the shape of an iceberg, as if modern people are pursuing a sense of balance between body and mind. Behind it, it conveys the meaning of striving for symbiosis and coexistence with nature and achieving balance. Each year’s animal creation theme series is based on the memory of traditional Chinese zodiac culture, using the interesting modeling vocabulary of robots, combined with the innocent symbolic image of children, as the creative core of this series. Kuo Wei LIN ‘s sculpture creation has created a strong visual recognition, let’s pay attention to the love and respect of the global environment, and the symbiotic guardianship.
